Meet Our Doctors
Jeff McComb, DDS
Dr. Jeff McComb was born and raised in Merced, CA (Central Valley). He graduated from the University of the Pacific (UOP) School of Dentistry in 2007 and worked as an associate within a pediatric dental practice for 13 years before opening Explorer Kids Dental. Dr. McComb also served as Pediatrics Dental Director for two years in a group of over 40 doctors. He is committed to expanding his experience and knowledge by taking pediatric-focused education courses, and along with his wife, has led dental and medical mission trips to the Philippines since 2006.
He enjoys seeing kids relax when they see that visiting the dentist isn’t scary, but can actually be a lot of fun—that’s when transformation happens! Dr. McComb really loves seeing and catching up with families that he’s built a relationship with, it really feels like seeing a family friend or neighbor. Dr. McComb would love to develop this with every family that comes in to see him.
Dr. McComb’s amazing wife, Candy, is also a dentist, and they work together as a dental team—they actually met and fell in love in dental school in 2007, and have been on a dental journey since then.
Outside of the practice, Drs. Jeff and Candy love spending time with their 4 children (3 boys and 1 girl), going camping, playing sports, or barbecuing tasty food. The family is active in the faith community at Doxa Church, and they hope to welcome you to the practice!
Candy McComb, DDS
Dr. Candy McComb was born and raised in the Philippines. She moved to California at the age of 20 to finish college at University of the Pacific, where she majored in Biology before she graduated as Valedictorian of her Dental School class in 2006. Dr. Candy then completed a one-year general practice residency at the VA in Palo Alto before she began working in pediatric dental offices, which she loves wholeheartedly.
Her favorite part of working with children is helping them enjoy their dental visits and giving them healthy smiles. She says, “It’s also very rewarding to see a nervous or scared child overcome their fears and build a trusting relationship.” She loves just being around kids and getting to know them and their families.
When she’s not helping children build confidence in their smiles, Dr. Candy loves to spend time with her family and watch her kids play sports; she also likes to travel when they have the opportunity. The whole family is involved in their church and has traveled together on their dental mission trips.
Drs. Candy and Jeff have been living in the Sacramento/Roseville area since getting married and love calling it home. Dr. Candy has worked in three pediatric dental practices and is so excited to continue taking great care of kids in their own practice. They aim to be as involved in the community as possible and make everyone they treat feel like a part of the family.

Warren McWilliams, DDS
Dr McWilliams is a native Sacramentan. He attended Bella Vista High School. Received his Bachelors degree from University of California, Santa Barbara in 1982 and graduated from University of Southern California, School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1986.
Dr. McWilliams had a private general dentistry practice in Carmichael for over twenty years and has since dedicated his entire practicing career to hospital based pediatrics. Dr McWilliams treats patients regularly in numerous local hospitals and surgery centers in the area for several pediatric dental practices. Dr McWilliams is the Surgery Center Medical Director for Kids Care Dental and Orthodontics, MEC Dental Director for Fort Sutter Surgery Center, Dental representative on the Outpatient Surgical Services committee at Kaiser South Sacramento and has been the chairman of the SDDS Task Force on General Anesthesia.
Dr. McWilliams currently resides in Fair Oaks with his wife Lynda. He enjoys golf, red wine, traveling, and is an avid sports fan.

Alaina
Office ManagerAlaina is as enthusiastic as they come and has a passion for helping kiddos with a smile on her face! Having a broad background of over 15 years in public relations and customer service she is committed to building close patient relationships with those she meets.
When she isn’t at the office or consuming her weight in tacos, she enjoys hosting family and friends at her home for any and all kinds of celebrations!
Her favorite memories are made with her three beautiful daughters. They are actively involved in their church community, sports and enjoy spreading JOY wherever they go! She’s also pretty known for busting out a random dance party at any given time.
Jackie
Patient CoordinatorWith over 13 years of pediatric dental experience, Jackie brings a world of smiles and sparkle to every visit! She’s passionate about making each child’s dental experience fun, magical, and educational, turning routine checkups into happy adventures.
Jackie truly loves what she does—helping kids build confidence in their smiles while creating a positive foundation for lifelong dental health. Her warm energy and playful approach make every patient feel comfortable, cared for, and even excited to visit the dentist!
When she’s not spreading smiles at the office, Jackie is a loving wife to her husband and mom to her energetic son. Outside of work, you can find her flowing through yoga poses, exploring hiking trails, experimenting with new recipes, or savoring her favorite coffee. She also loves dance parties with her son and spending quality time with friends and family.
Jackie’s secret ingredient to every day? A big heart, a bigger smile, and a sprinkle of fun in everything she does!
Jessica
Lead Registered Dental AssistantJessica loves to see children and hear about interesting facts or stories they have to tell her. She has been in the dental field for over 10 years. Her favorite part of any dental experience is watching a child whose apprehension of the dentist turns to sheer joy after their visit. She really loves giving out stickers and sugar free lollipops to everyone!
In her free time, she enjoys being with her two sons, they like watching movies together, especially musicals and like baking treats to give out to aunts, uncles, cousins and especially grandparents. Jessica and her husband Nestor enjoy long walks talking and reminiscing about life around their neighborhood with their handsome Cavalier King Charles named Hastings.
Natali
Registered Dental AssistantNatali has been a pediatric dental assistant for about 5 years. Growing up she had such a fun and caring pediatric dental office she went to and always loved going to for her routine cleanings. Her goal here at Explorer Kids Dental is to create an amazing experience for each child that comes in.
When she isn’t at the office, she loves nothing more than to spend time with her family. They enjoy going on trips nearby and far! Some of her favorite things are listening to a good playlist, going to the beach and catching a LA dodger game! She looks forward to seeing you and your family at your next dental visit!
Gabby
Registered Dental AssistantGabby loves her career working with children at Explorer Kids Dental. She finds it a true pleasure turning a bad experience into a positive memory, for a long-lasting dental experience.
She enjoys spending her weekends at her sister’s sporting events, taking her daughter Kaliyah to the park and cricut crafting!

Sara
Registered Dental AssistantSara has been working in pediatric dentistry for 4 years as a registered dental assistant and loves being able to further build trusting and positive dental relationships for little kiddos! She enjoys getting to know each and every patient that walks through our door!
When not at work Sara enjoys spending time with her family at home watching movies and making good food! She loves trying new restaurants, and taking her nieces and nephews along with her!
Sara is always traveling to the Bay area and going on new adventures whenever she can!
She looks forward to creating new and positive visits for you and your loved ones!
Pammy
Registered Dental AssistantPammy has enjoyed working with children for the last 20 years! 8 years as an Early Childhood Educator and the last 12(+) years in dentistry. Her heart is helping patients with dental apprehension or special needs, she loves helping them have the most positive dental experience possible to foster life-long positive dental habits, health and visits.
Pammy has 3 adult children and enjoys spending time with them and her 6 year old chocolate lab-Kalea. Long walks, visits to the ocean, nature, art and creative crafting are some of Pammy’s favorite activities.
